Frankfurt am Main, August 4, 2026. The race for the coveted Innovation Awards is entering its second round: The finalists have now been selected from a total of 185 submissions. On 21 July, the international expert jury selected a total of 47 innovations. The winners of the coveted awards will be announced on 8 September 2026 at Automechanika Frankfurt.

The criteria used by the assessors and the jury to evaluate entries are: innovative achievement and excellence of the solution; cost-effectiveness; user benefits; functionality and ease of use; market potential and relevance to the after-sales market; quality, durability and safety; as well as sustainability, energy efficiency, climate protection, environmental protection and the conservation of resources.
