New Mexico State University will take center stage next spring as the nation's largest student-run film festival returns to Las Cruces April 14-18.

Marking the festival's 12th year, the Las Cruces International Film Festival announced its spring 2027 dates. Presented by Nusenda Credit Union, Visit Las Cruces, the City of Las Cruces, Doña Ana County, New Mexico True and Allen Theatres, the festival highlights filmmakers while offering screenings, educational programming, networking and special events. 

The festival is expected to attract more than 12,000 attendees to watch between 150 to 200 full-length features, short films, animation and music videos.
