FY27 COCP & CSP Indirect Reseller Incentives Update

Microsoft has updated its FY27 Change of Channel Partner (COCP) policy. COCP now applies only when both the partner and distributor change. A partner moving to OpenText is not considered COCP if the customer relationship remains unchanged. As a result, incentives are unaffected by the one-year COCP impact period, simplifying distributor transitions.

You may learn more in the Microsoft FY27 CSP Incentives Guide. If you have any questions about how this update may impact your business, please reach out to our team.

Customer-Centric Conversations

Microsoft's FY27 GTM strategy is evolving to focus less on products and more on helping customers achieve business outcomes. This customer-centric approach is designed to accelerate AI transformation and deliver greater value for both SMB and Enterprise organizations.
