GymAware Joins VALD

We're excited to announce that VALD has acquired GymAware, the globally recognized gold standard in velocity-based training (VBT), marking a significant milestone in the evolution of performance technology.

For more than two decades, GymAware has helped thousands of coaches around the world make better decisions about athlete development and performance.

GymAware and VALD already share many of the same clients, as well as a vision for the future of performance. This made GymAware a natural fit.

• For Coaches: GymAware expands VALD’s platform from assessment and monitoring into training itself, completing the coaching workflow data loop.

• For VALD users: Whether you are measuring performance with ForceDecks, strength and asymmetry with ForceFrame, movement quality with HumanTrak or readiness with DynaMo, GymAware connects those insights directly to training outcomes to create a more complete picture of athlete development.

• For GymAware users: Existing users will continue to be supported and VALD is making API integrations free to all GymAware subscription users.

• Former GymAware users: Got an old GymAware unit lying around? Let us know - we will get you back up and lifting. 

• For all: This is just the beginning. Expect to see exciting updates to the GymAware  system, as we bring our systems together to create a seamless workflow across testing, training and decision-making.
