At first, Rollande Ducharme's death was classified as an accident. The 81-year-old's body was found inside her apartment at a seniors' residence in October of 2022.
But the victim's niece had her doubts. Her sleuthing would eventually lead to the truth: Ducharme had been attacked and killed by a total stranger in a drug-fuelled rage.
