Yeah, I saw your note about needing a hand with the garage shelves over the weekend. I think the brackets you have should work fine, but the trick is getting the spacing even before you attach anything to the wall. I usually measure twice from the floor and then use a small level to keep the first rail straight. Once that first one is solid, the rest just follows along pretty naturally. My neighbor borrowed my extra drill bits last month and still has them, but honestly a standard bit set and some anchors from the local hardware place will do the job. I remember doing the same setup in my old apartment and it took maybe an hour total. The hardest part was clearing enough space to move around with the boards, not the mounting itself. I can stop by early afternoon if you want a second pair of eyes, and I will bring a spare level just in case. No rush at all, and I do not mind a quick trip.
Let me know what time works and I will plan around it.

Hey, thanks for sending over the photos from your hike last weekend. The trail near the ridge looked really clear and the light in the late afternoon made the whole valley glow. I am glad the weather held up for you because the forecast earlier in the week looked uncertain at best. That spot with the old wooden bench under the oak tree reminded me of a place I used to visit with my uncle years ago, except his route had a lot more loose gravel on the way down. I think my favorite shot was the one with the stone wall and the tall grass leaning sideways from the wind. It felt quiet and grounded at the same time. I might try a similar walk in a couple weeks if the mornings stay cool enough. I will probably start a bit later though, because I am never ready to drive out before seven. Do you use a specific app for the trail maps, or just follow the posted signs? I am always curious how people pick their route and what makes them choose one fork over another when the path splits.
Either way, keep the pictures coming. They are a nice break from the usual inbox clutter.
