It's A Great Day to be a Cardinal!

Dear Forestville Families,

We look forward to welcoming you back for the launch of the 26-27 school year tomorrow! Our teachers have been busily preparing for a great start for all of our students. We know our students may be feeling excitement and also a few jitters and these feelings are all to be expected. As we work together and build our routines over the coming weeks, they will settle in quickly, reconnect with friends and welcome some new ones as well. They will have many great days ahead and we thank you for your support and partnership as we begin this school year!

A few first day/week tips:

  • As students adjust to schedules, they may be more tired in the evenings
  • Our youngest students may eat less lunch at first, as there is so much to see in our cafeteria
  • When asking about their day, ask for specifics as elementary aged students can answer better.
    • Instead of "How was your day?" consider "Tell me about specials today or what greeting did you use in Morning Meeting."

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Your principals,

Sarah Brooker & Rob Plunkett

A Wonderful Open House!

Thank you to all of our families who joined us for Open House! It was wonderful to see our students and their families meeting their teachers, reconnecting with previous teachers, catching up with friends, and exploring the school. The halls were filled with smiles, laughter, and excitement for the year ahead. We loved welcoming everyone back and can’t wait for a fantastic school year together!
