We would like to inform you that we've updated our Terms of Use, Privacy and Cookies Statement, Content and Community Guidelines and Ranking Notice, which will go into effect on the 25th of September 2026.

Please take a moment to review the updates in full and familiarise yourself with the changes.

The most notable changes include the following:

Terms of Use

  • Introduced limits on friend referrals to prevent misuse, with specific caps and promotion rules displayed directly in the platform's "Refer a Friend" section.

  • Specified that users must create accounts using a permanent, personal email address, that remains accessible for official updates.

  • Outlined grounds for account suspension regarding certain activity exceeding standard consumer use.

  • Defined the valid reasons for updating our Terms and guaranteed at least 30 days' advance notice before any material changes take effect, allowing time to stop using our services if users disagree.

  • Confirmed that while French law and Paris courts generally apply, consumers retain all local mandatory consumer protections, including the right to use their local language version and bring disputes in their home courts.

  • Aligned definitions with the current operations of the platform.

  • Made changes for improved readability.

Privacy Policy

  • Provided clearer details on how your information and platform activity may be shared with other users, including for custom profile URLs, profile badges, searches, friends and dining recommendations.

  • Clarified that we may receive information from external partners and platforms to better understand and improve our marketing performance.

  • Expanded transparency about what information might be shared with restaurants.

  • Clarified that we may communicate via multiple channels, including email, WhatsApp, and other direct messaging services, and outlined how we may send reminders for incomplete registrations or bookings.

  • Specified how we may use your platform activity to personalize your experience, such as customizing search result rankings.

  • Added details on how we utilize AI across our services.

  • Enhanced explanations on how we use cookies.

  • Restructured the policy to improve readability and provide greater overall transparency.

Content and Community Guidelines

  • Clarified that repeatedly using hostile and abusive language violates our guidelines and constitutes grounds for moderation.

Ranking Notice

  • Specified how search result rankings may be personalized based on user platform activity to display the most relevant restaurants.
