Architectural Metapatterns 1.2.1 was released.
This is a minor release with the main goal to somewhat improve
readability.
New content includes subchapters on read-write separation and
latency optimizations. There is also one new pattern, namely
Vertical Slice Architecture.
Pattern instances are now in normal text style instead of title
case italics. This should be easier to read, and it is sometimes
nearly impossible to understand is a system component, such as a
pipeline or adapter, an instance of a pattern or just an ordinary
English word. Now pattern instances are written as normal words,
hiding the problem.
