Hey, so I finally got around to cleaning out the closet under the stairs this weekend. I found three old board games we used to play back in college, including that trivia one with the missing blue piece. Someone had stuffed a bunch of old concert tickets inside the box too. It was like a little time capsule. Also found a bag of dried-up markers and a half-finished birthday card from 2019. I ended up donating the games to the community center down the street because they were still in decent shape. The rest went into the recycling bin. I should probably tackle the garage next, but that feels like a whole weekend project. Maybe when the weather cools down a bit. Anyway, I hope your weekend was less dusty than mine. Let me know if you ever want to do a board game night again, I kept that one card game we both liked. It still has all the pieces, surprisingly.

Oh, and I tried making that lemon pasta recipe you sent last month. It turned out way better than I expected, though I used a little less garlic than it called for. The leftovers were even good cold the next day. I think I'm going to add it to my regular rotation. You'll have to send me more ideas when you get a chance.

So I was thinking about trying to grow some herbs on the kitchen windowsill this year. Nothing too ambitious, just some basil and maybe chives. My last attempt at a small indoor plant didn't go great because I forgot to water it for about two weeks straight. But I read that herbs are a little more forgiving if you keep them near the sink. I saw a little starter kit at the store the other day with these tiny clay pots. It looked really simple. I might pick one up next time I'm out. Do you have any experience with that kind of thing? I remember you had that snake plant in your living room for a while. That thing seemed to survive everything, including that time your cat knocked it over twice. Honestly, maybe I should start with a snake plant and work my way up to the herbs.

Also, I've been meaning to ask if you ever finished that puzzle you bought back in January. The one with all the hot air balloons. I think it was a thousand pieces? I got about a third of the way through a similar one and then just gave up and put it back in the box. There is a whole shelf in my spare room of half-done projects like that. Maybe one of these days I'll actually commit to finishing one. Anyway, no rush, just curious how it went.
