Find Your Newest Adventure in Our Fall Break Camps

Need something fun and engaging for kids to do on 'no school' days? Check out our program offerings for holiday breaks, Arlington Public School Teacher Workdays or for Parent-Teacher Conference days. Enjoy a combination of full day, early release, and weekend options to make everyone in the family happy!

 

Check out the whole line up here, and make sure to register, for upcoming dates on Sept. 4, Sept. 21, and Oct. 12. Registration for Fall Break Camps close 2 days prior to the start date of the camp.

Don't Miss the Native Plant Sale and Free Tree Giveaway!

Enjoy the amazing selection of plants, shrubs, and trees at our Native Plant Sale. This sale is pre-order only, so place your order before all the plants have been sold! Make a purchase by Saturday, September 19. Pickup takes place on Saturday, September 26 between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at Fort C.F. Smith.

 

Help us expand Arlington's urban tree canopy by registering for your very own FREE native tree! Registration begins Tuesday, September 8 at 12 p.m. On tree distribution days, County landscaping staff and other professionals will be available to share information about how to care for your tree.

Arlington Mixed Doubles Pickleball Tournament

Registration is now open for the 2026 Arlington Mixed Doubles Pickleball Tournament! Join us on Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Walter Reed Dedicated Pickleball Courts. Teams of one male and one female player will compete in skill-based divisions.

 

Registration is $60 per team, and participants must register as a team of two. Register for the tournament by Sept. 14.

Help Your Kids Grow in Our Creative Preschoolers Program

There are still slots available for the 2026-27 Creative Preschoolers Program. The program is designed for ages 3-5 year old and emphasizes cooperation, listening, sharing, discovering nature and developing movement and play skills. Learn more about the Creative Preschoolers Program and register here.

Arlington's annual celebration of the vibrant cultures, traditions, and heritage of Latin America comes back on Saturday, October 3, at the Arlington Mill Community Center. Join us for Festival Latinoamericano for unforgettable food, music, and community!

Our Family Art Lab programs are designed to give families the opportunity to create with each other in a fun and recreational setting. These programs provide new ways to learn, grow, and play together as a family!

Access for All!
Parks & Recreation classes, camps, fitness memberships, preschools, programs and more are at a price you can afford! Our fee reduction program helps Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day! Access for All. Whether you have a short-term set back or something longer term, we're here to help.

 

Additionally, all Parks & Recreation programs, classes and camps can put modifications in place to promote an enjoyable and successful program experience for participants of all abilities. Advance notice is welcome. Call 703-228-4740 or email trinfo@arlingtonva.us.

 

Stop by our office at Lubber Run Community Center on select Saturdays to get help with registration, create an account, get login information, renew or apply for fee reductions, drop off registration forms, set up payment plans and more. The DPR Administrative Services Office at Lubber Run Community Center also has extended after hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 –7 p.m. for in-person assistance.
