Hey, I finally got around to cleaning the garage on Saturday. Took way longer than expected because I found a box of old cords from three moves ago. You know how it goes, one detour after another.
Still haven't decided what to do with the stack of paperbacks on the shelf. I keep saying I'll sort them by color for the video call background, but that might be a next month project.
Did you ever figure out that weird clicking noise in your car? I meant to ask earlier but got sidetracked. Mine ended up being a loose heat shield under the passenger side.
Any plans for the weekend? I'm leaning toward a long walk at the preserve if the weather holds. The trail by the north entrance is mostly dry now, which is a nice change after all that rain.
Oh, one more thing, I tried that lentil soup recipe you sent. Added a bit too much smoked paprika, but honestly it still worked. Let me know if you make the version with lemon zest.
I'll probably be near the library Thursday afternoon if you want to grab a notebook or just wander the aisles. They finally moved the travel section near natural light, which makes browsing much easier.

I just got back from the farmers market and now I'm rearranging the fridge so the greens don't wilt before Wednesday. The spinach looked better than usual, so I grabbed two bunches.
Also, I finally hung the mirror by the hallway. It was sitting behind the door for almost a month. Took longer to find the right anchors than to actually do the drilling.
Are you still thinking about that pottery class? I saw a flyer at the library and thought of you. They have a Tuesday evening session that might fit your schedule.
Last night I watched a documentary about old record stores and now I want to sort my vinyl by mood instead of alphabetically. Probably overthinking it, but it was a very calming film.
Let me know if you end up trying the trail near the reservoir. The ranger said the south loop is less crowded before nine, especially on weekdays. The wildflowers near the bridge are starting to open too.
I'm trying to use up the last of the basil before it turns. Might make a big batch of pesto and freeze it in an ice cube tray. That trick has saved me more times than I can count.
