Week 35, 24 August to 30 August 2026

National Syndromic Surveillance Summary:

During week 35, patient contacts for gastrointestinal syndromic indicators were stable or decreasing, but remained above baseline level in several systems. Small increases in ‘asthma’ and ‘difficulty breathing’ type indicators were seen in the ED and GP out of hours, in line with seasonal expectations.
