We’re introducing a new Know Your Customer (KYC) process to verify registrant identity for domain extensions that require it.
KYC requirements are set by certain domain registries. Initially, they will apply to .DE and .NO domains, with additional extensions potentially added in the future.
What this means for you
If KYC is required for your domain, you’ll need to verify the associated Contact Record before completing certain actions, such as registrations, transfers, and domain pushes.
Until verification is complete, these actions will not be available. You can learn more about KYC requirements and when verification is needed in our Help Center.
How to complete KYC verification
To get started, log in to your Dynadot account and go to My Domains → TLD Settings → Contact KYC.
Select the Contact Record you want to verify and follow the steps provided.
