Hey there!

The second September hit I was ready for fall. What is this feeling? Normally, I'm soaking in every last second of summer I can, but with the endless humidity that makes it even harder to enjoy being outside, I'm ready for cozy.

​

That being said, I'm giving this Labor Day weekend one last summer hoorah before I go full fall mode.

​

Here are my favorite sides for a cookout. If you haven't made them this summer, what are you waiting for?!?

• ​Herb and Leek Potato Salad (no mayo!) is hands-down the best around, and a great way to use up the end-of-summer garden herbs!
• My easy red cabbage coleslaw makes a great accompaniment to BBQ!
• Of course, no cookout is complete without a side of this classic side dish!​

And for dessert... I'm throwing in a wild card this year with this luxurious combination: sautéed plums in a red wine sauce served with ice cream. Seriously, you gotta try it.
