And you'll find me in there too, right alongside the other experts.

I'm charging a dollar to keep the quality of the questions up.

Last month's open house was read-only, so it was free. This time everyone can post, and a dollar is enough to make sure the people asking are actually working on a product, so the discussions stay useful all week.

To give you an idea, here are a few of the things guests asked last time:

• Where to even start as a first-time founder
• How to plan FCC testing for a product built on a Raspberry Pi Compute Module
• How far a sensor can sit from the board over a cable before it causes problems
• How to safely charge a multi-cell battery pack
• When it's time to hire an engineer versus keep going yourself

So post your question, and you'll get an answer from me or another expert.

And if you're not the type to jump in and post, that's completely fine. That same dollar opens up years of past discussions, including design reviews and certification problems worked out in detail.

Plenty of members tell me they learn the most just from reading what other people are stuck on.

You also get the full library of courses and workshops.

One tip if you do have a question: have it ready before Monday, and post it early in the week. An early question leaves room for a real back-and-forth instead of a single reply.

It's a flat one dollar for the week. Nothing recurs afterward, and there's no membership to cancel.
