Inflatable furniture might conjure thoughts of sticky, sweaty plastic that’s constantly deflating. But not so with IKEA’s new blow-up chair. After weeks of testing the kelly-green seat, home decor expert Ivy Elrod found that it has the novelty charm of old-school inflatable furniture, without many of the faults.
It won’t replace your couch on movie nights, but “as a playful accent, a family- and pet-friendly seat, and a low-lift statement piece,” Ivy writes, “IKEA’s blow-up chair is a delight.”
