I called the office on Tuesday to check on the room we requested for the meeting next Thursday. They said the reservation was still pending because the larger conference room had two other requests from different departments. I asked them to keep our request active and I gave them my direct line for a callback. I also emailed the coordinator the same day and listed our three time options in order of preference. This morning I saw the reply in my inbox and it said we are currently second in line for the 2 PM slot. I replied that we can accept the smaller room at 1 PM as a fallback if the larger one does not open up. I will know by Friday afternoon and I will send a note to everyone with the final room number and time.

I met with my manager this afternoon about the new scheduling process. We went over the old list from March, and three of the names were out of date. I wrote down the two people who still need to be added before Friday. I'm going to send the corrected list to the front desk tomorrow morning, so it is ready by the time the next team meeting starts at 9.
