I called the building office today to ask about the room we reserved for next Thursday. The person said our name was not on the list yet, so she added it while I stayed on the phone. The room is on the second floor, near the back stairs, same as last month. I told her we needed seating for eight, but she only had a setup for six. She said she would put in a request for two more chairs by Monday. I plan to call again Tuesday morning to confirm the chairs and the booking.

I called the hotel this morning about the meeting room for Thursday. They said the reservation is still in place at 11 AM, so that part is fine. I also asked about the chairs, and they will add four more before we arrive. The front desk said those will be set up by 10:30. I wrote down the confirmation number again in case anyone asks for it at the door. It is 4472. Last time we had a delay getting the projector connected, so I asked if someone from maintenance could be nearby. The person I talked to said they would put in a note for that. I will bring my own cable just in case. I plan to get there around 10:40 to check the table layout. If anything changes with the reservation, the hotel has my number and will call me first. I will pass along any updates as soon as I hear them.
