A popular pizza of the past is taking last spin around the microwave plate. Conagra Brands, the conglomerate that owns brands like Slim Jim, Duke’s and Orville Redenbacher’s, is retiring Celeste Pizza. But her kind face and lava-hot, post-microwave cheese will live on in our collective nostalgia. “We stopped producing Celeste as part of our SKU rationalization process,” a Conagra representative tells TODAY.com. “We mentioned it during our earnings call last week.” |

| ‘Crazy Rich Asians' is officially getting a sequel in the form of a TV show |

Almost 10 years after its release, “Crazy Rich Asians” is officially getting a sequel — sort of. On Oct. 8, HBO announced that they have greenlit an eight episode series that will pick up after the events of the 2018 film. Along with the news, they also confirmed that Constance Wu, Henry Golding, Ronny Chieng and Michelle Yeoh would be reprising their roles. The one-hour drama series is based on Kevin Kwan’s book series. Adele Lim, who co-wrote the film, will showrun and executive produce the show alongside Kwan, Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, and the film’s director Jon M. Chu. |

| Sydney Sweeney and Marilyn Monroe are related, a new study finds |

Sydney Sweeney and Marilyn Monroe have long been compared for their blonde bombshell looks and Old Hollywood glamour. Now, a new genealogy study says the connection runs deeper. According to MyHeritage, Sweeney and Monroe are ninth cousins once removed. The company told NBC it traced the actresses’ family trees through their paternal lines and found they share a common ancestor in Ezra Perry, an early English settler in Sandwich, Massachusetts, who lived from approximately 1625 to 1689. MyHeritage said the connection runs through Sweeney’s father, Steven Sweeney, and Monroe’s biological father, Charles Stanley Gifford. The company confirmed and verified the relationship through historical records and genealogical research. |

| ‘Pretty Little Liars' actor Keegan Allen says he was robbed in LA |

Deputies with the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department are investigating a reported assault and armed robbery Thursday involving actor Keegan Allen outside a Los Angeles grocery store. The “Walker” and “Pretty Little Liars” actor posted a video on social media saying he was assaulted and robbed by two armed men outside the store. In the video, which includes surveillance footage, the actor is seen with his face covered in blood as he explained what had happened to him. Allen said the two men stole his Rolex watch and hit him in the head. |

| Darth Vader's lightsaber from iconic ‘Star Wars' duel goes up for auction |

In July, a lightsaber with Luke Skywalker’s severed hand from “The Empire Strikes Back” sold for $3.75 million at auction, the highest price ever fetched for a prop used in a “Star Wars” film according to the auction house. Now, someone can buy the saber that did the severing. A Darth Vader lightsaber used in the climactic duel in Cloud City where he tells Skywalker “I am your father” is among the highlights of the Ultimate Star Wars Auction to be held by Heritage Auctions on Nov. 12. |
