About our Commended Students
Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized and provided with a certificate from the National Merit Scholarship Program. Although they will not continue in the 2027 competition for National Merit Scholarship awards, Commended Students are being recognized for their outstanding ability and potential for academic success in college and are among the top students who entered the 2027 competition by taking the 2025 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
