Madison Improvement Project Update

Please see several updates about the Madison Community Center improvement project:

Project update: Crews are replacing the roof in sections through late fall and have begun ceiling and demolition work inside the building. We appreciate your patience as there is increased noise during the roof replacement. When visiting the site, please follow all posted signage and stay clear of fenced areas for your safety, as some walking areas have changed.

Community meeting for Madison programming and fitness opportunities: Join us on Monday, Oct. 19 from 6:30-8 p.m. for an in-person community meeting to share your thoughts on programming and fitness opportunities at Madison Community Center following its renovation. The meeting will be held in the Langston Brown Community Center second-floor gym and will begin with a staff presentation followed by an open house. RSVP to let us know you're coming and share your ideas for future experiences at Madison.

Ballot drop box remains open during construction: The 24-hour ballot drop box is open for the November 2026 general and special election ballot drop off. It is located outside the construction fencing near the facility entrance on N. Stafford Street. Note that there is no in-person voting at Madison during construction. Please visit https://vote.arlingtonva.gov/Early-Voting for more information about early voting locations in Arlington.
As a reminder, the community center is closed until construction is complete and it is expected to reopen in fall 2027. Please note that there is a temporary restroom available near the basketball court if needed while visiting other areas of the site; see the latest site map on our website for more information.
