Handcrafted in our artisan factory in Italy, each pair of our Bellagio hikers pass through the hands of skilled craftspeople who handstitch the storm welt and add layer upon layer of dye by hand to the upper to create a depth of colour. The boots are then tumbled in large drums with wooden blocks to create a battered, worn-in patina that no two pairs will ever share exactly. They will arrive looking as though they have already lived a little - which, in a sense, they have. That is not a flaw. It is entirely the point. Stock is limited and, given the time these boots take to make, will not be quickly replenished. |
