Scheduling Change for the Advanced Report on Manufacturers’ Shipments, Inventories and Orders and the New Residential Sales Reports

Due to the executive order issued by President Biden closing the federal government on December 24, 2024, the U.S. Census Bureau has changed the release dates for the Monthly Advance Report on Manufacturers' Shipments, Inventories and Orders and the New Residential Sales report. The Monthly Advance Report on Manufacturers' Shipments, Inventories and Orders will be released on Monday, December 23, 2024, at 8:30 a.m. The original release date was scheduled for Tuesday, December 24 at 8:30 a.m. The New Residential Sales report will be released on Monday, December 23, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. The original release date was scheduled for Tuesday, December 24 at 8:30 a.m.

In the event of a lapse in appropriations, the Census Bureau will provide additional guidance on the release of principal federal economic indicator data and an updated release schedule as soon as it becomes available.
