The Red Sox have played 16 games in spring training and have 15 remaining, counting the two they will play in Mexico after leaving Florida.
Opening Day against the Rangers in Texas is a little more than two weeks away. That’s it.
That the Red Sox will be a more competitive team this season isn’t a given. But the rotation depth created by the additions of Garrett Crochet and Walker Buehler and the signing of Alex Bregman has raised the talent level on the roster to a point where 88-90 wins isn’t a fantasy.
But as spring training starts to wind down, there are some valid concerns the Sox need to address.
