My goal is to make the few minutes you spend with Markets A.M. worth your while, whether you’re an old hand or a newbie, an active trader or a no-nonsense buy-and-hold investor.
I’ve been writing for and editing Heard on the Street, the WSJ’s home for financial and economic analysis, for the past 10 years and I penned the daily Ahead of the Tape investing column before that. Prior to the Journal I wrote “Lex” for Britain’s Financial Times. My first career was as a stock analyst and a research director at a global bank. I’ve also written two books about investing.
Join me every weekday by signing up for Markets A.M. here. And Aaron Back and the rest of the Heard on the Street team will catch you up on the day’s most important markets moves, after the closing bell, in the Markets P.M. newsletter; sign up here.
Got a question about markets and investing? You can write to markets.am@wsj.com or just reply to this email.
