We were thrilled to welcome several Inova team members to Chantilly Academy this week for our very own Inova Day. Throughout the day, Health and Medical Science students had the opportunity to learn from health professionals from five different Inova departments: Diagnostic Imaging, Neurodiagnostics/Sleep Assessment, Pharmacy Services, Rehab Services (Physical Therapy), and Nursing.
At each station, students had the opportunity to participate in a variety of learning experiences including using candy to practice compounding medication, viewing diagnostic images such as x-rays, and performing a two-minute step test to name a few. Students were also able to ask questions and interact with Inova team members to learn about each of their unique journeys in the healthcare field.
We are extremely grateful to our partners at Inova Health Services for making this event possible for our students. Thank you to each of the Inova departments who participated in Inova Day and the exceptional team members that presented to our students. A special thanks to Nate Mart, Kelsey Karlovich, and Brielle Quinn from Inova's Workforce Development team for making it possible to bring Inova Day to Chantilly Academy!

Thank you to our Cyber/IT instructors, Mr. Aberle and Mrs. Belsky, for making this exciting field trip possible for our students!
