Sanctuary Advisory Council Meeting

9 a.m.–1 p.m.

A public meeting of the Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary's Advisory Council will take place from 9 a.m.–1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. This will be a hybrid meeting, held in-person with a webinar option.

The agenda includes updates from the Office of National Marine Sanctuaries, Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary, and council member constituent reports. There will also be a presentation on how artificial reef construction promotes tourism product development in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. 

The public comment period is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. If you want to make public comments, you may sign up at the meeting venue or submit a request through the question/chat box of the online webinar. Public comments will be limited to three (3) minutes per person.

Comments submitted through this meeting will be considered part of the administrative record for FGBNMS Advisory Council meetings.
