Nine teams from North Alabama have advanced to the National Finals of the American Rocketry Challenge, the world's largest student rocketry competition. The teams, representing Huntsville, Moulton, Muscle Shoals, Russellville and Tuscumbia, competed against a record 1,001 teams to secure their spots. "The American Rocketry Challenge launches not just rockets, but also the careers of the next generation of aerospace innovators, and today is just the beginning for our 100 national finalists," says Eric Fanning, president and CEO of the Aerospace Industries Association.
