Clarity Pharmaceuticals has entered into a supply agreement with Nusano for the production of copper-64. Nusano's facility in Utah, which expects to begin producing Cu-64 in 2026, has a manufacturing capacity of more than 18,000 patient doses per day at 200 MBq per dose.
A survey found that about 49% of cancer patients lacked knowledge about medical imaging, which was associated with depression, anxiety and stress. The study included adult patients at various stages of cancer treatment who had an indication for PET, CT, PET-CT or MRI, finding about 10% said they had stress, 30% had depression and more than 40% experienced anxiety.
