Hey hey, what’s up my friend!

I was looking through my notes and came across a list of razors (also known as mental shortcuts).

They are useful, so here are a few of my favourites...

Bezos Razor

When faced with a significant decision, choose the path that minimizes future regret.

Should I cut my loss while it’s small or widen my stop loss? I’ll cut my losses as I don’t want to regret losing a huge chunk of capital.

Tony Robbin’s Razor

Humans are motivated by avoiding pain and seeking pleasure.

If you want to change, then make…

Pain of inaction > Pain of action

You pay me $100 if you skip a workout session.

Taleb's Surgeon

Appearance of competence is not the same as actual competence.

If you're choosing between two equally qualified candidates, favour the one with less charisma (or looks). They’ve gotten this far due to their skill, and not from “extra” help.

Now I know why I’m always the ugliest candidate at interviews. Haha!

So, what other razors have you come across?

Hit reply and let me know.

Moving on to trading…

Why you lose with technical analysis (and how to avoid it)

You’ve tried things like support & resistance, candlestick patterns, indicators, etc. But still, you lose money with technical analysis. Why is that?

That’s because you need 3 critical things for technical analysis to work (and I’ll explain more in this article).

Candlestick charts for beginners

Give me 52 minutes and I’ll teach you everything you need to know about candlestick charts.

Trading systems that work

An edge is something you do repeatedly that yields a positive outcome.

Without it, even the best risk management and discipline can’t save your account.

That’s why in this book, you’ll learn 3 proven trading systems that work so you have an edge in the markets.

And don’t forget…

“Trading can never replace the consistent income of a job. Because it’s not a job—it’s a business.”
