Good morning, Chicago.

While the biggest White Sox news Thursday involved Jerry Reinsdorf's deal with Justin Ishbia to potentially sell his controlling interest in the team in future years, the Sox also plan to call up catcher Kyle Teel, their No. 2 prospect, to the majors today, a source confirmed to the Tribune.

Teel, acquired from the Red Sox in the offseason Garrett Crochet trade, is hitting .295 with eight home runs and 30 RBIs in 50 games for Triple-A Charlotte and was named White Sox minor-league player of the month for May.
