NEW LABEL & TRACK OUT TODAY | | KEYS N KRATES NEW LABEL"ODD SOUL SOUNDS" | Big news — we’re launching our own label: ODD SOUL SOUNDS. It’s named after our party, ODD SOUL, which serves as the sonic and cultural blueprint for what we’re building. The label reflects the kind of dance music we’d play on our dance floor — that sweet spot where house (and house-adjacent) rhythms intersect with RnB, hip hop vocals, or aesthetics. | | Our approach is outsider by nature — inspired by artists like Kenny Dope, who brought a hip hop spirit to house, or the UK scene that flipped American house into garage by speeding it up and breaking the mold. It’s about blending what feels good, melting genres, and moving from instinct, heart and soul. Culturally, ODD SOUL is about collaboration, championing artists we love, and growing the community we started with the party. | | We are kicking off the label with a collaborative release from us, Afrique Like Me, and 96vibe. We’ve been friends with Afrique Like Me for a couple of years now and have played some fun shows together. They’re incredibly talented, unique producers and absolute rockstars when it comes to operating the decks. 96vibe is one of our favorite producers out there doing the tribal house thing (though he’s not limited to just that). It was only right to make this tribal/afro peak-time warehouse banger (featuring Anowa from Afrique Like Me on vocals) the first release on ODD SOUL SOUNDS. | | |
