Dear Dad,
It's been a long time since we last spoke - and yet, not having you physically here, I still feel you. In quiet moments, in the guidance that echoes through me, and in the love that hasn't gone anywhere. Writing to you on Father's Day is a way to keep our connection alive - to remember & thank you, and to listen.
Thank you for being my protector - not just from childhood fears but from the hard truths of life. You showed me how to walk through the world with courage, creativity, and care. To your grandchildren, you're still Opa - their rockstar and their guide. They carry your spark forward.
You didn't just teach us - you planted soul seeds. And they're still growing in the garden of wisdom:
- Don't hope, Don't want. Don't wish. Know.
- Don't be a Me-to. Be a How-to.
- Be you. Don't change for anyone.
- In your home, in your world, in your heart - grow something.
- If you want to be something, be of service
- That's the magic of being successful. It's all about love. That's all there is.
