The AI assistant, which is expected to roll out globally by August, allows users to create and select lighting scenes with voice commands. The Play Wall Washer, available in the US and UK, features a gradient light effect and can sync with media.

BMW is planning to launch a hydrogen-powered SUV in 2028, possibly built on the next-generation X5 platform. Toyota supplies fuel cell systems for the X5 and the two will continue to work together on the 2028 model. BMW's move into hydrogen fuel cell technology represents BMW's first major step into mass production of hydrogen passenger vehicles.
