The project team will continue to collect feedback on the concept design for the Vacation Lane & Lorcom Lane Intersection Improvements Project, through tonight, June 17.

Project Background

In 2023, Arlington County received several requests for a Transportation Safety Investigation through Report-a-Problem raising issues about safety at the intersection for people walking through the intersection. 

Based on this feedback, along with planning guidance, safety and operational data, and field observations by our project team, DES transportation staff developed a concept design that addresses the issues identified with the intersection today and delivers on the goals for this project.
