Celebrating Juneteeth at Met Park
Juneteenth commemorates arrival of Federal troops to enforce the Emancipation Proclamation of 1863, ending enslavement in the United States, in Galveston, TX, the furthest west and south the illegal practice still extended.

Speaking a kind word to a stranger, inviting someone over for dinner, or reaching out to the friend you've been meaning to talk to but just haven't; we could all use a connection. |
