It is so hot in New York today. We’ve gone from cold and rainy for weeks, to now 90+ degrees and humid. So, as a break from politics, I thought I would share some drawings with you on the subject! Enjoy. The weather is always fun to use in drawings. Yes, it can be a crutch to draw about the weather, usually if you’re stuck for an idea. But c’mon, it’s fun! Anyway, we all share the subject, no matter where we live. We can all relate, maybe not at exactly the same time, but we all feel the weather. Cartoons are about shared experiences. Here are some by some of my colleagues and myself over the years. And I swear I did not see Ms. Hokinson’s drawing above, done well before my time, before I drew mine below! Thanks for being here, have a restful Thursday, if at all possible. My heart goes out to the citizens of Israel and Iran. See you tomorrow. |
