President Donald Trump signed his sprawling domestic policy bill into law Friday, which could remove millions of beneficiaries from Medicaid.
After contentious negotiations in both the House and Senate, lawmakers agreed to the largest cuts in Medicaid’s history. The bill implements Medicaid work requirements, adds new restrictions on provider tax arrangements and cuts Medicaid funding for a year for large abortion providers, among other measures.
