It was a moment that Sonia remembers as a “big nightmare” where "everything changed". One minute she was lying next to her fiancé Paul in bed – the next he was in an ambulance on his way to the hospital.

Five-and-a-half years after his tragic and sudden death, she gave birth to his baby, MollyRose, with one single embryo they'd had frozen.

Sonia's incredible story is the last episode of our special limited docuseries Fertility Unpacked, which also looks into how women are having babies later in life.

You can watch all the episodes here.  I hope you have learnt something from the series and if you are going through, or have experienced, your own fertility issues then it helps you feel less alone.

Elsewhere, this week is all about dementia awareness, with the launch of a major campaign called Think Again. Our brain health is often overlooked, but Think Again is all about changing that.

If we adopt small habits today it will have a big impact on our brain health later in life. I personally have been addicted to playing these games that help keep the brain active to reduce dementia risk. I got to level eight for the SNAP! game and I intend to keep trying to get even higher.

Let me know how you went and what you think at health@news.com.au.
