Five officers were shot while apparently serving a warrant in York County, Pennsylvania, three people familiar with the matter confirmed to NBC News.

Three officers from the Northern York Regional Police Department are in grave condition and another is in critical condition. The shooter is believed to be dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to the sources.
