From the traditional favourites, to world premieres, as well as a few surprises, get ready for another spectacular Last Night of the Proms.
This year's concert, conducted by Elim Chan with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, celebrates three major anniversaries: Shostakovich, Bernard Herrmann and Ravel. There are world premieres by Camille Pépin and Rachel Portman, plus the usual anthems, folksongs and sing-alongs.
The evening features soprano Louise Alder, trumpeter Alison Balsom, and a surprise appearance by Brian May and Roger Taylor of Queen, marking the 50th anniversary of Bohemian Rhapsody with a new orchestral arrangement.
And don't miss musical comedian Bill Bailey, who performs Leroy Anderson’s The Typewriter on his very own typewriter.
