Happ. happ, happy wild card, furiends!
Greetings from Cleveland, where I’m keeping the faith and enjoying the sights! I hit the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, gobbled up a couple pierogis, even took a dip in Lake Erie. Now I’m ready for the Tigers to vanquish the Guardians so we get some October baseball back in the D! AJ, I’m ready to pitch! Tail wags and smiles, Freddie

- Name: Eddie
- Age: Shelter said 2, vet said more like 1-ish

How he came to be your dog: I wanted a companion to hike, do night photography, long walks, etc. with. Our dog Lucy is getting old and this is not her “thing.” I didn’t want to just get a dog. Wanted a connection to a breed (like Lucy, who is mainly Cane Corso). I went to MAC to meet a giant 8-year-old mastiff. Wasn’t a good fit. My daughter saw Eddie and asked if we could meet him. I wasn’t too interested (he seemed like a pit mix and wasn’t sure about that with our dog Lenny). We saw Eddie and he was perfect. He was also a stray. He was pretty wild when we brought him home, but he knows some commands now. I already adore him, and we’ll have many adventures together. We have a place up north and he loves it up north!
- How he got his name: His shelter name was Poe. His formal name is Edgar “Eddie” Poe - in keeping his shelter name/history.
- Favorite food: hot dogs
- Biggest quirk: Goes bonkers for about 15 mins every morning around 5 am, also doesn’t like rain
- Bad habit: chewing on furniture
