Weekly update for October 10, 2025

Dear Columbia friends and families,

It has been a wonderful 5-day week at CES! We have many fun and excitiing activities to mark on your calendars mentioned below, including the Annandale Chamber of Commerce Parade. Each of the last four years, the Columbia ES entry in the parade has been one of the largest and most spirited entries in the entire parade. We will share more information soon as everyone is invited to march in the parade with us on Saturday, October 25th this year. Stay tuned for more details!

As a friendly reminder, we will not have school on Monday, October 13th so we will see everyone back at CES on Tuesday of next week. Have a great weekend!

BINGOween - October 24

Mark your calendar and plan to join us for BINGOween, October 24^th! This event is a student favorite where families and friends dress up in costumes and play BINGO. There will be raffles, a silent auction, concessions, and lots of fun. You can volunteer here or donate supplies here!

October PTA Meeting Change

The October PTA meeting has been moved to Tuesday, October 14, 7 PM. You can join the meeting by using this link (https://myfcpsk12.zoom.us/j/91903873132).

We encourage all Columbia families to attend the Boundary Review Community Meeting for the Annandale High School Pyramid on October 21 from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM. Information on these meetings can be found here.
