RVES News and Notes - October 10

October 10 - News and Notes!

Rolling Valley Families,

It’s been a full and exciting week of student learning and activities! October is always a busy month, and we’re truly enjoying the buzz around the school.

This week, students explored math through hands-on career stations from ecologist to baker to architect, discovering how math plays a vital role in decision-making across different professions. In literacy, students have been learning all about animal adaptations and showcasing their understanding through creative biome projects. It’s been wonderful to see their research and creativity come to life!

A big thank you to all the families who joined us for Curriculum Night on Wednesday! We enjoyed connecting and sharing what your children are learning in our classrooms.

Looking ahead, please be on the lookout for information about whether your child is scheduled to stay at school or go home on our upcoming Early Release Wednesday, October 29 (1:00 PM dismissal).

Our biggest PTA event of the year, the Fun Fair and Haunted House, is right around the corner, and we need your help! Please see below for ways to volunteer and support this exciting community event.

And a quick reminder, there is no school on Monday, October 13.
