EDITOR’S NOTE Happy Sunday. After weeks of unseasonably warm weather, I’ve been looking forward to this cold, cloudy, autumn-like weekend. Mostly because it’ll force me to, as the kids say, lock in and get my life in order. And by that, I mean… Raid my dad’s closet for this fall staple — which instantly makes every outfit look cooler when tied around the waist. (Yes, it’s giving Tai from Clueless, and no, I don’t hate it.) Stock up on the latest addition to the Nerds Gummy Clusters collection. Friends, I have not felt this passionately about a candy since Haribo Peaches. Buy a pair of rain boots that (a) don’t weigh 1,000 pounds and (b) don’t ruin every outfit. I know that sounds impossible — but, turns out, such things exist. Make the one recipe that has an iron grip on my group chat every fall: this aptly named, impossible-to-mess-up Pumpkin Dream Cake. Purchase this kitchen essential for my bathroom. Sure, it may sound strange, but it’s life-changing for anyone with zero counter space (*raises both hands*).
