PTA Updates
TIGER NIGHT:
Friday, November 7th, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM
We’re excited to announce the return of Tiger Night — one of Twain’s most popular student events! This fun-filled evening is for students only. It is a PTA fundraiser. All proceeds go directly toward supporting school activities. Tickets are $5 per student. Concessions will be sold at the event. Cash only for tickets and food!
Activities:
- Dance

- Basketball Tournament
- Minute-To-Win-It Games
- Improv
- Karaoke
- Board Games
- Video Games
Tickets will be sold during student lunches on the following dates:
- Wednesday, October 29th
- Thursday, October 30th
- Wednesday, November 5th
- Thursday, November 6th
*No tickets will be sold at the door! There is an event cap of 300. Get your tickets EARLY!! Remember - cash only!
Parents & Caregivers: This event cannot happen without lots of help. We are looking for volunteers.

NOMINATE A STAFF MEMBER FOR STAFF MEMBER OF THE MONTH:
Know a great staff member at Twain? Each month, the PTA awards one of our hard-working staff members the honor of being the Staff Member of the Month! In addition to a gift card to a local restaurant, the Staff Member receives a prime parking spot and a cool trophy! We need your nominations. Please tell us about a Staff Member at Twain that you feel deserves this award and why by completing this Staff of the Month Form.
STAFF MINI GRANTS:
Nine (9) staff members’ grant proposals were approved this fall, totaling $2,700! Every applicant was a current PTA member. Each recipient received the maximum $300 grant. Thank you for your support!
