Google partners with Arkansas universities on AI training
Google has partnered with the University of Arkansas and Arkansas State University to participate in the first cohort of the Google AI for Education Accelerator program, part of Google's $4 billion investment in a West Memphis data center. The program, funded for three years, offers free access to Google Career Certificates and AI training to students, faculty and staff.

Colleges adapt to address value concerns

Colleges are increasingly focused on proving their value, as public confidence in higher education declines amid increasing tuition, student debt and a challenging job market. A Strada Education Foundation analysis indicates 70% of recent graduates from public universities see a positive return on investment within 10 years, although this varies by state. Colleges are working to address these concerns by freezing tuition, lowering sticker prices and aligning degree programs with job market needs.
