Principal’s Message to Families

Dear Ravensworth Family,

This week the students in our Go to Green Club kicked off our schoolwide recycling program.  These students and club sponsors, Ms. Blend and Ms. Fortenberry, are leading our school in the FCPS portrait of a graduate skills by being global & ethical citizens. Some of our 5^th grade students engaged in learning with the SphereO Coding program, provided by the Air & Space STEM Outreach partnership program. These fifth graders coded their robots to follow a student created path.  It is not surprising that one group of students programmed their robot to follow a path that was “6 – 7”.
