Exciting News! Our School Earns the 2025- 2026 Purple Star Award

We are proud to share that our school has been recognized as a 2025-2026 Purple Star School. This prestigious designation is awarded to schools that demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting military-connected students and their families.

The Purple Star recognition is valid for three school years beginning this year. It highlights our ongoing dedication to ensuring that every student feels a true sense of belonging, stability, and support, especially those who serve alongside their families in the military community.

We are honored to receive this recognition and remain committed to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all our students and families.

Beech Tree Family Compass

Family Compass Group now forming!

We are excited to launch our Family Compass Group. It will consist of a small team of parents who will meet quarterly with school administration to discuss strategies to support student success and family engagement.

We are seeking up to five parents who are interested in partnering with us to strengthen our school community. If you would like to be considered, please complete the interest form by 10/24/25. The link is below:

Key Points

Provides a structured opportunity for administration and a team of parent representatives to:

Strengthen school–home partnership around student learning, achievement and attendance.
Provide parental perspective on instructional strategies aligned with core content areas.
Share suggestions into how to positively support social, emotional learning to impact student success.

Membership

Composition: Up to 5 parent representatives from upper and lower grades
Facilitators: Principal and Assistant Principal
Selection Process:

Families invited to express interest through a short interest form shared in the school newsletter.
Administration selects members to ensure grade-level and demographic representation.
Members serve a one-year term.

Meetings

November 13th at 5pm
March 12th at 5pm
June 4th at 5pm
Duration: 60 minutes
